About Dumas
Dumas is a small city located in Moore County, in
Texas, United States. As the county seat of Moore
County, it is situated at approximately 50 miles
north of Amarillo. It takes its name from Louis
Dumas (1856-1923). The city of Dumas also boasts
with another personality, the music artist Joe
Carrasco who founded the band "Joe 'King' Carrasco
and El Molino" in Texas during the late 70s.
